The Ladies Section comprises around 100 playing members who have the same rights and privileges as the men. As well as having our own Ladies Committee we are also represented on all the Club Committees.
The course drains extremely well enabling year round play. Buggies (which can be hired in advance) and electric trollies can be used unless there are very exceptional conditions.
There are regular competitions held on Tuesday morning for which tee times are reserved. Once in each month there is a non-qualifying event. For the working ladies, competitions are held once a month on a Saturday morning. Ladies can also enter Club Trophy events which are always held at weekends, and there is a comprehensive calendar of mixed events which are very popular.
The Ladies Section has a good record in County events including past success in winning the Division 1 Championship and the prestigious Morrice Foursomes Trophy.
